The New York Presbyterian Church was built in 1820, and has had many presidents as attendees - the most notable being Presidents John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

President Abraham Lincoln and his family attended the church from the start of his presidency through the Civil War. The original pew that he and his family sat in is still within the Sanctuary, and is distinguishable by its unique shape and color. The church also contains an original draft, in President Lincoln's own handwriting, of the Emancipation Proclamation.

Historically inquisitive guests may dig deeper into the church's history here.

Complimentary valet service will be available at New York Presbyterian.

The celebration begins immediately after the ceremony at the Willard Intercontinental, just three blocks down 14th St. The cocktail hour begins at 6:30, and Jessica and Steve will be there. We don't miss cocktails.

This historic hotel has hosted almost every U.S. president since Franklin Pierce in 1853. On August 28, 1963, the Reverend Martin Luther King finished his famous “I Have A Dream” speech while a guest at the Willard. Other notable guests have included Charles Dickens, Buffalo Bill, David Lloyd George, and P.T. Barnum.
